WHAT ARE THE DATES & HOURS FOR THE 2024 NEW YORK AUTO SHOW?

Friday, March 29 to Sunday, April 7, 2024

Monday – Saturday:  10am-10pm
Sundays:  10am-7pm
We are open on Easter Sunday!

Is the Auto Show open to the general public?

Yes, the Auto Show is open to the public.

When and where is the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the show?

The opening day ceremony is held the first Saturday of the show.
Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 8:30 am-10:00 am.
Join us at Crystal Palace entrance located on 35th and 11th Avenue.

What are the dates for the 2025 New York Auto Show?

Friday, April 18 to Sunday April 27, 2025.

Are pets allowed inside the Javits Center?

Pets are not allowed inside the Javits Center.

Can I purchase a car at the Auto Show?

Although you cannot purchase a car at the Auto Show, take advantage of your time to research the vehicle of your choice, obtain information then visit your local dealership to make your purchase.

Will I be allowed to sit inside vehicles?

Yes. However, there are vehicles that are concepts and not accessible. Extra steps are being taken to keep all vehicles sanitized throughout the show.

Will I be allowed into the show with my service animal?

Yes, trained  Service Animals are permitted inside the Javits Center.

Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the animal, require that it demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person’s disability.

In situations where it is not obvious that a dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions:  (1) Is the dog or other animal a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) Has it been trained to perform a specific function? (source: ada.gov)

Will I be allowed into the show with my Emotional Support Animal?

Only trained Service Animals are permitted inside the Javits Center.

Although emotional support animals and/or comfort animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not service animals and therefore are not permitted in the Javits Center. (source: javitscenter.com)

Is the Javits Center a smoke-free facility?

Yes, the Javits Center is a smoke-free facility. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping pens are prohibited in all enclosed areas including the covered portion of the inner roadway.

Are there metal detectors for security?

Yes. Please do not bring knives, pocketknives, box cutters, any other metal items that may be considered dangerous, or personal items of sentimental value. All confiscated items will be handed over to the NYPD 10th Precinct.

Is there an age requirement for Ride & Drives?

You must be 18+ or accompanied by an adult to participate in a Ride & Drive.

What is the cost of tickets?

General Admission
Adult Admission – $22 | Child Admission- $8

Early Access Friday & Saturdays 9AM
Early Access Adult Admission – $48 | Early Access Child Admission – $18

How do I purchase tickets?

You can purchase your tickets online through our website, the Auto Show App, or at one of our cashless kiosks located inside the Javits Center. You’ll be able to access your ticket via mobile device or you can print for a physical copy. Each ticket has a unique barcode, duplicate copies of the same ticket will not be accepted.

We encourage you to purchase in advance to avoid lines at the show

How do I purchase group tickets?

Admission to Groups of 20 or more Adults (13 yrs or older) discounted rate of $17 per ticket.
Admission to Groups of 10 or more Children (12 yrs or younger) discounted rate of $5 per ticket.*
*Adult chaperones can be added to a children’s group order.  Admission for children 2 years and under are free with a paid adult.

Do you offer Group and Private Tour Packages?

Yes.  General Group Tour tickets are available via our website, under Tickets.

Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour by an automotive expert who will personally escort the group at the show!

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

Yes you can, but we suggest you purchase in advance through our website or download the NY Auto Show App. On Site sales will be handled at our many cashless Kiosks located at the entrance to the Javits Center.

We strongly encourage you to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid long lines. Tickets are accessible via mobile device or can be printed. Each ticket has a unique barcode. Duplicate copies of the same ticket will not be accepted.

There will be NO CASH SALES at the show.

Can I get a refund?

Auto Show ticket sales are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE. However, they are transferable to friends and family.

Will tickets sell out on site?

We do not anticipate tickets to sell out on-site. Avoid waiting on a long line and purchase in advance through our website or on-site at our cashless Kiosks.

Do I need to print the ticket I purchased online and bring it to the show?

Auto Show tickets are accessible via a mobile device however, you may choose to print your ticket.

I did not receive or cannot locate my ticket confirmation. Can you resend my tickets?

Ticket purchase confirmations are sent from confirmation@etix.com.  Please check your email’s Spam/Junk folder.

If you still cannot locate it, please contact us at tickets@autoshowny.com with the name and email address used to make the purchase.

My ticket has my name on it. Can I give it to someone else to use if I cannot go?

Yes. The tickets are transferable to friends and family!

Can I use the same ticket multiple times?

A ticket is valid for only ONE entry into the show.  Duplicate copies will not be accepted.  Tickets are scanned real time, any attempt to use the same ticket for multiple entries will not allow access to the show.

Is there a "Will Call" and an “Information Booth”?

The Will Call desk is located inside the Javits Center in the Crystal Palace by the 35th Street entrance. We also have an Information booth located inside the show on the North Concourse.

Is there re-entry to the show once I leave the Javits Center?

There is no re-entry into the show once you exit the show.

Where is the Jacob Javits Convention Center located?

429 11th Avenue

That’s between 34th-40th Streets and 11th Avenue in New York City.

Is there parking at the Javits Center?

There is NO public parking available at the Javits Centers on-site.

There are a limited number of Special Needs parking spaces occasionally available in the area for attendees with a valid Parking Permit for People with Disabilities issued by a government authority. Please call the Javits Security & Safety Solutions Department at (212) 216 2196 for information. (Source: Accessibility at the Javits Center).

Are there any shuttle buses available?

We do not have shuttle buses, but there is Public Transportation to the Javits Center.

Is the Javits Center accessible via public transportation?

Yes, the Javits Center is accessible by public transportation.

I am traveling from outside of NY, what is the closest Airport?

The New York metropolitan area is serviced by three major airports: JFK International, Newark Liberty International and LaGuardia Airport.  Travel time by taxi from the airports to midtown Manhattan varies by airport and time of day. Travel time from LaGuardia to midtown can take anywhere from 25-40 minutes. JFK can take anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour and Newark 40 to 60 minutes. (source: Javits Center – Getting Here)

Do you have wheelchairs or mobility vehicles available on show site?

Yes, the Javits Center can assist you in renting a Mobility Vehicle to use at the event. Please visit https://www.javitscenter.com/attend/accessibility/ to make your reservation.

Are strollers allowed at the show?

Yes. We love kids and are a family friendly event! 

Are cameras & video cameras permitted on the show floor?

Yes! Take and share as many photos as you like on your social media pages as well as those of the Auto Show.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, the Javits Center offers limited complimentary WiFi.

Can I bring a water bottle for my kids?

Yes. Water bottles are permitted inside the Javits Center.

Is there First Aid or a nursing station?

There is a First Aid Station on Level 1, along with paramedics that are stationed throughout the Javits Center.  This room is also designated as a lactation station.

Is there a coat check?

Coat Check Service is managed by the Javits Center and is subject to availability. Please call the Javits Center at (212) 216-2000 or email moreinfo@javitscenter.com prior to travel to inquire.

 

Is there a place to eat?

**All concessions are managed by ‘Cultivated’ the Javits Center Official Food Service. **
Attendees and event staff have a variety of choices about where to eat within the Javits Center. A food court on Level 1, a full-service Starbucks, and the Concourse Café on level 2 and on level 3 a second full-service Starbucks, as well as the Crystal Palace Marketplace.

Are there health and safety requirements?

NYC no longer requires vaccinations or face masks for Auto Show attendees. Wearing a face mask is optional.
